authentication password not working . pls help.

when i started with ubnutu my prefered language was english(UK) .
thereafter i changes keyboard language in English(US)

after changing language i cant install update as its ask authentication password and when i put the same password it says fails.

pls do help me .

Do you have special characters in your password that might be located in different positions on UK and US keyboards?

In engilsh uk my password was sunil2242015

When i did change language.. In english us now my password is not working..

You could try setting a new password for yourself with the passwd command
