Does Dolphin browser close Atrid?

Asked by Raptor2m@gmail.com

I just installed the latest update to Astrid on my Droid Eris, and got a message saying that I have the Dolphin browser installed and that it might kill Astrid, which will prevent me from getting reminders. There is a message to add Astrid to an "exclusion list" so that it won't get killed by Dolphin.

I checked all the Dolphin settings, but I can't find anything about killing apps or an exclusions list. What is this all about?

Thanks!

Astrid looks for any applications with "permissions" to kill other applications, and gives you a warning about them. This warning is primarily for apps like "Task Killer". Other applications like Astro File Manager have a "kill tasks" feature as well. I'm not sure why Dolphin would need this permission, but you should be ok.

Can you help with this problem?
