after CM update I can no longer open astrid

Asked by geshem

I updated the ROM to CyanogenMod-4.2.14.1, all of my apps work except astrid. I tried deleting the app but the uninstall (and open) buttons are grayed over. How can I fix my Astrid installation?

Thanks,

Can you describe how it's broken? Odd, I've used CyanogenMod with Astrid (though not recently). I've never seen this before..

Well I can't open astrid and I can't delete it either. In the market the app is shown as installed but the button to open it is grayed over, same with the uninstall button. I tried removing astrid via manage applications and as of now is not listed when I press on Settings->Applications->Manage Application. I've used astrid over a several different cyanogen mods and this is the first time that any app broke (astrid is the only app that stopped working). Strangely enough, while I had this problem (its been about 3 weeks now) I had an alert that theres a new astrid version available. I was able to update the version but not open it.

Thanks,

- G

have you ever used ADB to talk to your Android phone from your computer? you can manually uninstall Astrid that way, by issuing an "adb uninstall com.timsu.astrid". Otherwise... i have never seen this problem and have no idea what you could possibly do to resolve it!
