Integration in Pure calendar widget

Hi,

I am the author of 'Pure calendar' widget.

Many people asked me to integrate a TODO in Pure calendar.
I think Astrid is very good for that task.

So ... Instead of doing something from scratch, I think it would be more interesting to add a provider in Astrid to show Astrid information in my widget.
I can code the 'content provider' in Astrid if you agree.
What do you think about my solution ?

The result would be a widget able to see calendar events and tasks (to do).

We would be happy for you to do something like this. In the next few weeks
we are going to be finishing up our plug-in architecture. If you can wait
for that I think it would be best to creat this as a plug-in. How does that
sound?

Ok, no problem.
I'll have a look on the current code, and wait for "plugins version".
When do you think it should be available ? is it v3.x ?

yes.. v3.x is the plugins version we are hoping in the next 3-4 weeks.

Hi,

I have a first version of tasks provider for external application.
It works fine with my current version of "Pure calendar widget"
Do you think you can add it to the main branch ?
Can you provide me an account to collaborate ?

I'll take a look at this within the week. It probably won't make it into 2.10.1, which is a bug fix release, but i'll target 2.11.0, due end of december.
