NullPointerException on Sync

Asked by Corey McGlone

I've been using Astrid for a couple days now and been successfully 'sync'ing tasks back and forth between Astrid and RTM without any issue. Just recently, however, I updated a couple tasks on my Droid and tried manually syncing, only to get the following error:

Sync Error! Sorry for the inconvenience!

Error: java.lang.NullPointerException - com.timsu.astrid.sync.SynchronizationProvider.synchronizeTasks(SynchronizationProvider.java:291)

Anyone know what might be causing this?

When I sync, I get a progress bar that reads "Reading Remote Data" and this progress bar makes it to 100%. After that, it jumps to "Locally Deleted Tasks" (I think) and then throws the aforementioned exception. The reason I'm not sure what this screen says is because, most of the time, it's only on the screen for an instant and then it's replaced with the error.

Is this a known issue? Is there something I can do with my tasks in order to avoid this?

Thanks.

I believe I've fixed it, it'll be present in the next update to the
market. Thanks for reporting the bug!

Hi!

I've got exact the same Problem today.
I stopped the Application in the settings menu and started it again, but this didn't helped.

I've installed the current Version from the Android Market.
