Delete Multiple Items & Sync with RTM

Asked by myet01

Hello,

First time posting and I have searched and cannot find the answer. I apologize up front if it has been posted but I just cannot find it.

1 - Is there a way to delete multiple completed tasks at the same time? All I can figure out is to delete them one at a time.
2 - Does Astrid sync deleted tasks with RTM? I have deleted tasks in Astrid and RTM but they don't seem to delete off each other when syncing.

Thanks,

Tony

Tony,

1. From Astrid? There is a "Clean Up Old Tasks" setting in the menu under "More"

2. Tasks deleted on RTM are not transmitted to Astrid, because unfortunately RTM does not provide me with this information. If you delete tasks from Astrid, though, those should synchronize with RTM.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply. Will the "Clean Up Old Tasks" delete only the tasks under the "Tags" you have selected or will it delete all completed tasks under all tags whether you have them select or not? For example, I have a tag called "Groceries" that I use a lot and it has numerous tasks that are "completed" or "un-completed" as I need items from the store. However, if I use "Clean Up Old Tasks" to get rid of some tasks under a "To-Do" tag will it delete the ones completed tagged "Groceries" as well?

Thanks,

Tony

It will delete old items from everywhere, regardless of the tag that you are viewing. However, unless you ask to "show completed tasks", the tasks you have completed will be hidden from Astrid once you refresh the list (i.e. by going to the tags list and back to the tasks list).

Can you help with this problem?
