Never.
2. when will compiz support mir?
There'll be a mir compositor and unity shell will be ported to this platform.
there's no place for compiz in the post-X11 era.

As my knowledge bases only on google, please correct me if I'm wrong.

I would be up to the task of porting compiz to wayland but Im not at all too clued up on wayland and so now im reading as much as I can on wayland
