mpd support?

Asked by noNeed 4 aNick

Hi guys,

CoverGloobus seems to be a real nice app, but I'm wondering if it supports the music player daemon? If not, is there chance that it will support mpd in near future?

I'm working on a mpd api now. I've found a lib called python-mpdclient which i can probably use, but i cant find any documentation of it. Will be posting again when i've succeeded (or failed) implementing mpd ;)

Hey Jaap,

maybe you check out this here: http://jatreuman.indefero.net/p/python-mpd/
There is a small cmd list in the src-folder and a few examples on the homepage. After a short review I think, that it could be the better choise, because it at least has somewhat of a documentation...
Sadly I'm a beginner in python and don't have much free time or else i had tried to write a patch for my own.

Good Luck on this
I'm excited for the results
