Connection Issues

Asked by rcp8074

I get my internet through my school, I am hooked in through an ethernet cable. I connect to two hubs using dc++ and I get onto both of them just fine until I try to do anything such as get a filelist, my whole internet connection stops and says I have limited connectivity to the internet. This only happens when I have used DC++. Is this a problem with the software or the school's internet?

take a look at the "My University blocks DC++" FAQ in the DC++ help. you may also want to try to connect to ADC hubs, because these are less known and those policies might not apply to them.

I should add that I'm the only person on the floor with this problem, all of my friends connect to the same hub without issue.

There may be a conflict in there or something. Make sure your settings in DC++ are ok ( active mode problems ? )

Can you help with this problem?
