Increase size of backup tarballs

Hello,
how can I modify the size of the tarballs and where I can do It? I'd like to do only a big file for each backup...

No, it's not likely to change. The backup format breaks backups into smaller files because it is optimized for incremental backups. And being able to restore individual files without downloading the whole backup.
