Backup medium is lost - I need to make new backup

Asked by david

The backup medium I used has been lost and I need to make a new backup. Deja-dup keeps asking for the lost backup medium - Backup location not available. Wating for USBDisk: david4 to become available.

I have uninstalled deja-dup and removed all deja-dup files in the .config and .cache directories and reinstalled deja-dup. Deja-du still askes for the old backup medium and wont proceed.

What can I do to make a clean re-install?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Open the backup preferences and change your backup location to your new drive.

In Ubuntu 11.10 (just guessing), go to your System Preferences and click on Backup.
