Desktop notice if caps lock is on

I have a Dell Mini 9 Laptop. There are only 2 LCD lights so I do not know if the caps lock is on or off. Is there a way I can get a message or icon to display on the desktop to inform me if the caps lock is on?

Hi, there is an indicator for lock keys, you need to install it:

sudo apt-get install lock-keys-applet

after that, it is best to logout and log back in again to update the list of avaiable applets.
1. Right click on panel -> Add to panel
2. find "Lock Keys" -> click on add
3. Right click on the indicator and choose preferences and there you can set witch keys to show
