Docklet Suggestion

Asked by Andrew Burne

I really like Docky and you seem to come up with new features all the time. The ability to switch between open windows by scrolling works pretty well, but I tend to have groups of different windows on one desktop so it doesn't help me much. Would it be possible to create a Docklet that when you scroll on it, it switches between all open windows on your active desktop (like what alt+tab does, but less awkward to use). I don't really have much experience with programming so I don't know how you'd go about doing it. Does it sound like something that could be implemented?

Right click on any panel, click add to panel, then choose the applet which is before the last one of the list, which is window selector. Once you have this in your panel you can scroll on it to view any opened window no matter if they are different programs. This solution does not use docky but it does solve your problem until docky adds it as a docklet.

Not exactly what I meant as it does all workspaces, but it's pretty close. Thanks for the tip
