Install new docklets

Asked by Carlos Almeida

Where can I find new docklets and helpers to install, other than those that are packaged? I have version 2.2.0, so I think I'm up to date, but I miss some docklets. It would be nice to install new ones (like screenlets, etc, that we can find in gnome-look, for instance).

Is there a way to install them or a place from where to download them?

As far as helpers, look at the DockManager project. As far as docklets, there really arent any (that I am aware of) that are not packaged with Docky.

I installed DockManager from the repositories. But I'm not able to open it. If I run "dockmanager" in the terminal it will say "command not found".

It isnt a runnable program. It is a set of helpers, which Docky (or AWN, or DockbarX) can use.

Can you help with this problem?
