File Roller

drag and drop with file roller

If I select a couple of files in file roller and want to drag and drop them to the folder where they need to be extracted, nothing happens.

In hoary this worked just fine, problems exists in breezy.

I tried to do the same on my computer and it worked.

What kind of file are you using with File Roller? I .zip or .tgz or something else?

Where are you copying the file to? Your hard drive or a network place or somewhere else?

strange, after your comment I tried again, and it worked without a problem.
Must have been me then.

This used to happen sometimes ... but when you do it the second time it would work
