Where are the shortcuts stored?

I want to modify some shortcuts, but I can't find where the file which contains the shortcut is stored. Where can I find it?

What shortcuts? Do you mean the applications in the slingshot launcher that appear when you click the "Applications" button in the upper left? If so, you need to install alacarte to edit these items.

sudo apt-get install alacarte
