PyGarmin/Garmin-sync and bluetooth pys60

Hello,
What do you think are the odds for
1) adding bluetooth support to the garmin.py module
2) port the module to Pys60
This in order to download tracks from an Etrex into a Nokia E61 phonePDA

The Etrex is equipped with a serial->bluetooth converter.
Simple python scripts like dump_nmea.py nmea_info.py do work. My objection is just to dump track data into my phone, nothing more sophisticated.

Can any body give me a head start; I am not too familiar with datacom programming.

I don't think you have to add bluetooth support. If it's a serial->bluetooh converter, I suspect that you can create an RFCOMM binding, and simply use the serial protocol.

As for porting garmin.py to Pys60, I have no idea how hard or easy that would be. If Pys60 has the serial module, I wouldn't expect it to be too hard.

Can you help with this problem?
