Whether toolchain tested on Cortex R series ?

Asked by Leon Lee

The toolchain supports Cortex-R4, Cortex-R5.

But the release note only mentions the test on Cortex M series.
"Tests:
* Tested on a variety of Cortex-M0/M0+/M3/M4 boards
* Tested on Qemu"

And Qemu does not support Cortex-R series yet.

Is there any test suit running on Cortex-R before the toolchain is released ?

Thanks

I'm afraid the current focus is still M profile. Very limited test on
simulator only. But architecture level R is similar to A, which has been
tested extensively on trunk and other branches.

Yes. We run gcc regression test regularly on an internal simulator which supports R profile cores.

Can you help with this problem?
