LLVM versus GCC

ARM recently announced that "ARM Compiler Builds on Open Source LLVM Technology"

Has this any influence on the tools for ARM Embedded Processors?

ARM Compiler is in commerial development solution, which will base on LLVM.
Open source development solution for ARM Embedded will continue base on GCC.
