Openstack Images v2.0 API (Glance) - documentation

Glance v2.0 is still work in progress. I think that is why there is no formalized documentation for it yet.

Let us know if you have any specific questions though. Maybe Anne can point you towards, if there is documentation for it.

Accoring to the Folsom release notes - the Glance v2.0 is already introduced...
So it passed the ' work in progress' stage. (http://wiki.openstack.org/ReleaseNotes/Folsom#OpenStack_Image_Service_.28Glance.29).

What do you mean by ' work in progress' if it is already included in Folsom?

Regarding the 'Create an Image' API (POST /v2/images):
What are the list of parameters I need to add to the create request? The documentation you refered me to doen't explain them.

What is the equivalent (if there is any) to the HEAD > metadata properties from v1.1 API?

Hey Maty,

In glance-client we have not exposed all v2.0 functionatlies like image-create and image-update yet. We are planning on doing it soon. But yes you will be able to set user defined properties and it will be in the body of the request.
