Can you make an easier GUI menu, my suggestion is

I'm planning some GUI changes in version 3.0, most important changes:

 * no script (groups) anymore, entries can be moved to any position on the grub list (now they can only be moved on its script) and plaintext and "(new entries)" not visible by default, disabled entries are showed separately (all to make it more wysiwyg ;-) )
 * settings will be a (or 2) tab(s) inside the main window, the custom settings (currently advanced tab on the settings dialog) is available as window, accessible by a button on the settings tab or so

Maybe it's a good idea to detect the current system and show a warning message if the user tries to remove it. What I don't want to do is to hide the list configurator, as I think this is one of the most important features of a grub settings tool.

Sorry I don't fully understand your explanation, due to my limited English.

1. So I am willing to help test your beta or alpha, if you need tester.
   And I will help comment.

2. In my opinion the Preference/ General Tab / default entry / predefined +> drop down options.
   The "drop down options" should have a larger window width,
   so user can see the kernel location on the hard disk, sda2 sda7 and so on.
   Please look at Startup-Manager main page, or your full screen first page that it contain all those drive info for each kernel.

   It is OK as it is but it will help with more convenient and user friendly for newbies.

3. I have try your program again few more times and tweaking.
   Apart from No.2,
   I think you can leave everything as it is
   and delete my first Post comment negative on your program.

   How ever I will do review it again soon with more thoroughly.

   It it like first time I used unity, I just hate it since it change the way we are used to.
   Though I am not using Unity for day to day work still and conclude that it is not my preference.

Ok, thank you.

I now the default entry selection isn't optimal (nobody knows the difference between the left column and the right column… ;-) ). Maybe it's the best way to integrate this into the main window and referencing by name generally, never by position.
