Wayland Support?

Asked by Alex Dowson

I'm addicted to Gweled but I've recently switched to Wayland (Sway). So I can't have Gweled run as a floating window anymore when it runs in xwayland. Will Gweled ever support Wayland natively like other GNOME applications? Pretty please?

Even if it's never going to happen, please respond. I'd rather know.

This page may be of some use since Gweled is a GTK+ application:

Also tried "GDK_BACKEND=wayland gweled" under Sway and Gweled still runs under xwayland.

Hi, sorry for the late answer.

Gweled stills depentds on Gtk2 and It's not compatible with Wayland.

The port on Gtk3 unfortunately is not as easy.

Best regards.
