changing eprint to static ip address

Can you change the parameters of eprint from having to be dynamic ip address to static ip address. It seems that eprint only works for dynamic ip addresses. Could you please clarify this for me. It is for a hp 3050A deskjet all in one printer.

It may have been that eprintcenter's website was under construction in preperation of ePrint's migration to HP Connected. Try turning the printer off and back on with the power button and see if you get an error message now. If so, you may benefit from trying the steps mentioned in this first post on this thread or from setting a manual DNS (8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4) within the embedded web server (click here for instructions), but according to the error it is very likely an issue with eprintcenter.com itself and not the printer. Let me know if you received any other error messages.
