Scanning

I liked the software but this version is useless for scanning. I use this scanner to scan baseball cards. I used to be able to set the area to scan and do that I can't do that now
Or is there an addon?

Can you help us with more information of the reported issue.

What is printer/scanner model you are using ?

I am using a Officejet 7300

With the one version of this software I could crop or select the area I needed to scan for a card.

Please install the latest hplip-3.15.11 version . You can download the file 'hplip-3.15.11.run' from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/gethplip.html.

Run command 'sh hplip-3.15.11.run' in terminal to install the driver.

Configure the printer using command 'hp-setup'. Run command 'hp-scan' or 'xsane' in terminal to scan from the device.
