HPLIP

hp-setup: no devices found

Hello,

I run hp-setup to install my HP f2480 (all-in-one deskjet) printer, I select USB then click next, then it tells me no devices were found.

P.s. my printer is deffo connected because ubuntu tried to find drivers for it when I first connected it.

Any ideas? Thanks!

updating to the latest version from the website solved this problem. i.e. the version in the ubuntu 9.10 repo has a bug in it.
