Copy control points to a new panorama

Asked by eko123

I have 50 images taken with a microscope. I have created a photomerge of these images in Hugin Panorama Stitcher. Looks great.
Now I have 50 more images taken of the same sample just with a different filter, and I would like to create a new panorama. This means that all the frames have exactly the same position as the frames in the first panorama, and the control points and their x/y shifts should be exactly the same.
Is there any way that I can copy all the alignment information from the first panorama to the second panorama? Then I would not have to wait hours for new control points to be created, and new alignement to be completed.

Load the second set. Then use File>Apply template to apply the setting from the first set.
