Hugin CLI Set Image Order and Load Ini Files

Asked by Dylan V

Hello,

I am using the Hugin CLI to stich a series of images together with the same camera. These images have a known order as well as a known offset between them. I was wondering if there was a way to encode this in the panorama stitching scripts in order to improve the stitching.

Additionally, I have been trying to find a way to load .ini files as part of the pto_gen command in the same way as it is done in the GUI, but haven't found a way to do so. Is there a way to load .ini files for the images loaded into pto_gen?

Thank you!

Pto_gen adds the images in the order given on the command line (except the --sort switch is set). But the order has only a minor influence.
If you know the rough positions you can set them with pto_var --set.. and then use cpfind --prealigned to use these position for decision which image pairs should be matched. But in most cases the cpfind --multirow (default in GUI) should work reasonable for most scenarios.

Pto_gen can't read the ini files. Instead store the information in the cam/lens database and pto_gen can load the information from the database.

Can you help with this problem?
