Do you have some info on possible Humanity updates for Karmic? Something big like version 0.5 also available like *.deb in normal updates..

0.4.6 is the latest version. https://launchpad.net/humanity/0.4/0.4

just drag and drop the relevant theme into the Appearance window. It will install the theme

If you update something, like weather icons in revision 431, are those changes automatically also in that *.tar.gz on front page?

No , the weather monochrome icons are not included in the tar.gz

You need to add them separately , they are in the 16px status folders

Changes in the revisions do not automatically get added to the *.tar.gz .
When we feel there is a considerable number of changes to make a new release , we roll out a tar.gz
