Create a custom sized web banner

I've imported a png image (pdf would not show up) and the image is larger than the original pdf. How do I resize it to make it smaller while keeping the proportions correct?

First select the image.

Once the image is selected, you will see arrows around the edge of it. You can resize the image by dragging one of the corner arrows. In order to keep the proportions correct, hold down the Ctrl key while resizing.

You can also resize by using the width and height boxes on the Selector toolbar. If you use this method, make sure that the padlock between the width and height boxes is locked, so that the proportions are maintained.
