does this program have an eraser? if yes, where is it.

I want to erase a tiny part of my drawing. an eraser like the one in paint would be perfect. But I can't find one.

There's an eraser tool: it's the one below the calligraphic pen (or use the keyboard shortcut Shift+E). It's not really like the one in Paint, however, since Paint is a bitmap editor and Inkscape is a vector editor.

Note that the eraser tool has two completely different modes (switch between them with the buttons on the eraser toolbar). But it's possible that neither mode really does what you want - sometimes the best way to remove parts of a drawing is by clipping.
