Exporting a file as a JPG-Image, I can't find that in the window.

I'm asked tot send a svg file as a jpg-file. I had to export that file under menu file - Safe as and then choose in de pulldownwindo the extension jpg. But that isn't in the list. I doesn't understand that, because it is mentioned in the guide?

There is no JPG export form Inkscape directry, so why then just save it in PNG? It is better format for graphics, I assure You. There is no need to save any vector graphics in JPG, because it totally wrong.

But if Your counterparts are so stubborn, you can convert PNG files to any format they like. Just print:
convert YourFileName.png YourFileName.jpg
