Need to change the colour of plotted dots

How do I change the colour of dots on a map created in Illustrator and then uploaded into Inkscape? I have been able to select 75% of the dots to change the colour but can not capture the remaining 25%.

Hi,

Can you provide an example file with dots you cannot capture ?

(Alternatively : Can you select those dots ? Are they clones that you would have to unlink to change their color ? Are they in a locked layer ?)
