1-multi-page documents; 2-tool icons; 3 text boxes

Asked by Gordon P Patnude

1 - Is it possible to have multi-page documents?? How do I create the additional pages I need??

2 - Can I make the icons in the tool-bar larger to make it easier for me to see them?? How do I do that??

3 - Is there a method to "lock" the horizontal dimension of a text box such that when adding or editing the text contents, the text will automatically "wrap" to the next line when it exceeds the bounded limit??

I have looked at the on-line index and table of contents and not found an answer to these questions using what I think is reasonably intelligible terminology

Multi-page document support: http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscape-pages/

Icon size: Inkscape Preferences > Interface

Fixed size text box: Instead of clicking once and typing, you should click-drag to create a text box. You can adjust its size with the tiny diamond shaped handle in the lower right corner. When you're ready, just start typing in the box (or paste in copied content).

Well, that was helpful but only answered one part of my question.

I would also like to know about the other two questions: multi-page documents and larger tool-bar icons.

In what way does this
"http://sourceforge.net/projects/inkscape-pages/"
not help with making a multi-page document?

And in what way does this:
"Inkscape Preferences > Interface"
not help with the icon size?

Thanks. I still have a lot to learn about Inkscape.

How much is it like Corel Draw??
