Does printing/exporting work in 0.46-pre2?

I'm trying here to print a simple box and a stretched text (pulled the lower vertical handler), or to save/export it as PDF, though it generates a crash.
I just downloaded 0.46-pre2 7-Zip package for Win32, and running it on XP pro.
Saving the file and reopening it with 0.45-1 lets me print it smoothly.
Steps to replicate (here) my problem:
1. Open inkscape
2. Draw a rectangle
3. File > Save as...
4. choose PDF format, confirm dialog default --> crash
Similar with printing, though it seems to happen only if I add a text
Any suggestion?

Inkscape has a new print dialog based afaik on Cairo. Windows has some problems with the current version of cairo so the print dialog is not working yet (under windows, other platforms don't have this problem).
There is a mild debate about delaying the release of the windows version or rolling back to the old print dialog and release 0.46
The situation will be fixed soon, anyway.
