how do i remove text from a template i purchased

I am trying to make a template where I can just add different names and I can't figure out how to delete previous text on illustration.

Double-click on the text, this will activate the text tool and you will see a text cursor within the text like in a text editor. Now use the usual methods of editing text, you can delete it with Del or Backspace and write something else.

You can also delete entire text object and start writing new text with Text tool, but this won't preserve you the styling so I'd recommend the first suggestion ;)

How to edit the text on the image?

I have selected the text tool and than i have double click on the text on the image than try to delete but its not getting delete. How to solve?

hi Raajesh,

maybe your text just paths? I mean maybe it is only images of letters, instead of letters itself.
you could check it by pressing F2 and clicking on the text.
