Asked by Crypts

I am new to Inkscape and familiar with Illustrator I find it in someways better, but for one thing, moving the image to see the Traced result. Maybe I am missing something? Can you enlighten me?

Inkscape always displays a solid path on canvas, even when you move or transform it. It may be quite slow in older systems and it probably needs some optimization.
Illustrator, Corel and similar programs aren't faster than inkscape, the just switch the moved object to wireframe mode to avoid that.
You can temporarily switch to wireframe mode (CTRL+KEYPAD5) to get a faster redraw. It may help.
Work is being done to solve this, porting the rendering engine to Cairo.

Can you help with this problem?
