No printing with Mac OS 10.5.6 under X11

I use Mac OS 10.5.6 on my Intel iMac 2,8 GHz extreme Core 2 Duo and would like to print my graphics with text in it on my canon pixma ip 4500.

I click on the print button in inkscape 0.4.6 and select my printer. My hard disk starts working but there is no printer output. No printing problems with other programmes, i.e. " text edit ".

That's the right place for reporting bugs.

Use the search tool and look for a similar bug (using keywords like "mac" and "printing"). If there's a similar bug already reported, add your information there. If there is no bug reported open a new one.
