Can't install on Leopard

Asked by revtro

Weird. I installed the latest version of X-11 like the Inkscape said to. (2.3.2.1) Then I downloaded the Inkscape package for Leopard. When I go to install it, it says it can't mount it because "type not recognized". That's it. It won't even try to install. So I tried the Tiger version (even though I'm on Leo) and it installed, but won't run. I double click the icon and essentially nothing happens. It never loads.

try with a development version, you'll get new features and some bug fixes, you can download it here:
http://inkscape.modevia.com/macosx-snap/?M=D

the .dmg should mount without doing anything special. (maybe your first download was messed up that's why it couldn't mount it)

the tiger version has probably some different dependencies that's why it's not working.

Can you help with this problem?
