The file is fuzzy

When I open the file in inskscape the file is fuzzy. How do I correct it?

I suspect you're loading a bitmap file, like jpg or png. To get a non-smoothed, pixelized version, right-click on the file, then select Object Properties in the context menu, and there, set 'Image rendering' to 'Optimize speed'.

Or use an image with a higher resolution, i.e. more pixels, a larger image. Usually this happens when people import tiny pictures, like 50x50px or so.

You can also scale the image down in Inkscape, to make its pixel density higher, then it's not going to look blurred (but will be smaller).
