Toolbox too "high" for netbook screen

Asked by Runo

I'm on an Eee PC 901 go, but I suspect it's the same with other netbooks with a screen resolution of 1024x600 or less.
When I opened Inkscape for the first time, I couldn't maximize or move the window, and after a little playing around I found out it was the docked Tool box that was preventing it from behaving normally. Once hidden or undocked, maximizing, etc., worked just as they should.
The already mentioned possibility to make it a horizontal bar should work as a solution, as well as using smaller icons(!).

PS: I'm running eeebuntu 2 (Ubuntu Intrepid).

Running a build from recent SVN source should work. The good news is that we've started the initial steps to get 0.47 released.

Can you help with this problem?
