Inkscape

Will not open after install into Mandriva 2008

Used the Autopackage method to install inkscape. It shows up as a selection in the Graphics menu. But upon clicking
on the inkscape icon. I get a bouncing inkspot for a few seconds then nothing. I am a newbie to Linux, I believe I do not have the correct libraries needed. Please help, thanks pcdok...

pcdok: This is apparently a bug. The right place for reporting bugs is the "Bugs" section.
Please close this question, look for a similar bug report in the bugs section, and if you can't find a similar report, create a new one stating all the information you can about the problem (inkscape version, OS, steps to reproduce, etc.)
