how come i cant get to my pictures when i open projects

when i open new projects i cant get to pictures so i can be able to make my own svg files it only lets go into fles that have no pictures

Could you please try to explain better what is your problem. I can't understand what are you trying to do.
If you want to convert bitmap images into vectors, you have to import the bitmap image, and go to path > trace bitmap.
But I'm not sure if that is what you want.

I am making Christmas tags, After I do them I can't get them out of the programs into Jpeg pictures
