Converting From SVG. to JPEG or PNG.

Asked by Dystink

I'm making designs for printing that will go on fitted hats and after I set the dpi I need and export the file I go to convert it. I made my company logo with Inkscape and it came out fine as a JPEG, but after I convert the SVG. file to jpeg or png. it won't let me see the image after its saved. And the file does have what I saved in it. I have converted the svg. file both online and offline. What is going on? This Is my first Time using Inkscape and I've never converted something from here before.

1. open your svg
2. select what you want to export
3.go tot File menu> Export Bitmap (Shift+Ctrl+E)
4. now you will see the options to set your dpi, and to set what you want to export (page, drawing, selection)
5. click on "browse" to chose where you want to save your file,
6. click "export" your file will be then exported to a png

if you need a jpeg, then you will have to open the png in another software like gimp, to convert the png to jpeg. Inkscape will only export to png.
