How can applications be blacklisted?

Is it possible to prevent certain applications from appearing in Kupfer (i.e. blacklist them)?

I use xscreensaver, and ever single screensaver shows up (close to 200 of them), and since they all have very different names they pop up in just about every search I do. It would be nice to prevent that, yet still be able to access xscreensaver's GUI settings.

I finally found that in the settings for the applications plugin the desktop environment can be set. That got rid of all those screensavers...
