I think you did not read the instructions carefully. You have to create a project in Launchpad (or locate the existing one) and specify the import details there.

Hi David, thanks for the response. Apologies for delaying mine, I've been away.

The project has been created in launchpad: https://launchpad.net/arcmapbook

I admit to being confused by the wording of the second bullet in VcsImports. "There will be a "trunk" series for any new project you register. Go to that, and set the source details to the CVS or Subversion repository you wish to have imported. PLEASE ENSURE that you use MAIN as the CVS branch (this service only works with trunk)."

I don't see where the trunk series mentioned in the instructions is located within my project. When I go to Code[1] the only apparent action available is to "Register branch", and on that page[2] it says "The only branch format supported is that of the Bazaar revision control system...". I've clicked through all of the Actions on the Overview page I don't see any place to enter CVS or SVN details. Where is the 'that' in the phrase "go to that"?

[2] https://code.launchpad.net/arcmapbook/+addbranch

thanks,

-matt

Visit the Overview tab and you'll see:

Hi Christian, thank you for responding.

I don't understand how posting a url I've already posted myself in the previous message helps. Sorry. I'm not trying to be obstructive, I just don't get it.

Hi Matt,

If you look on that page under the Timeline heading there's a link to "trunk". Just click on "change details" and you should be able to set it up.

Thanks, Tom

I swear I posted it because it was relevant! If you visit that page and search for "trunk" you'll hopefully see what I meant.

Oh, I see it now. The url for editing the CVS/SVN info is located at https://launchpad.net/arcmapbook/trunk

I propose the wording on the VcsImports page be changed a little to make finding this a little easier:

There will be a "trunk" series for any new project you register. Go to the trunk page, available
under the "'Timeline" heading on the project overview page, and set the source details to the CVS
or Subversion repository you wish to have imported. PLEASE ENSURE that you use MAIN as the
CVS branch (this service only works with trunk)."
