Launchpad website not rendeing well in Firefox

Hello,

When using Firefox with the Launchpad website a lot of icons are missing. Most notable are the edit icons for all the info in my own profile and the icon in a bug report that you click to change it's status or package.

Note that I can click the area in which the icon should be and that is followed by the expected behavior, it's just that the icon itself does not appear.

In chromium it's rendered fine and I see all of the icons.

Does anyone know how to fix this in Firefox?

Hello,

Please confirm which X graphics driver you are using. In particular, ATI's proprietary driver (fglrx) has been known to cause the symptoms you describe.

I am using fglrx.
Is there a way to fix it other than changing to the open source driver?

Bug 773693 has been filed concerning this, but I am not aware of any ideas for fixes or workarounds.
