deb packages disappeared in ppa.launchpad.net

Hi all,

I met a problem in launchpad.
My ppa is here,
https://launchpad.net/~euroford/+archive/toolchain-bleed/+packages

My backport gcc-4.5 is there.

But in http://ppa.launchpad.net/euroford/toolchain-bleed/ubuntu/pool/main/g/gcc-4.5/ , all deb packages disappeared!

What's matter with it? please help me.

Hi William,

The previous version gcc-4.5_4.5.3-1ubuntu2lucid1 was disappeared.
gcc-4.5_4.5.3-1ubuntu2lucid2 is the reupload version.

The operation I did with gcc-4.5_4.5.3-1ubuntu2lucid1 were copy it to another PPA, deleted it, and copy it back, deleted the copy in the other ppa, and the result is none of the ppa's repo have the packages.

It's difficult to see exactly what happened, since it appears that you deleted things multiple times. However, it looks like you uploaded it, deleted it, copied it back in, deleted it again, copied it back in again, and then deleted the old ones for a second or third time, even though they were already gone!

Does that sound plausible?

I suspect that those last couple of redundant deletions confused something -- probably because the publications had already been deleted at least once, and the binaries were shared between all three. The old ones got confused and took the new publications with them. It's not a very common case to have these complex frequent copies and deletions.

I got it, the operation is async, I will do it in a general way.
