Need translations help - destroy old translations

Asked by Tim Su

Hi,

We are using launchpad translations for our project "astrid".

About a month ago, a corruption in an automated script messed up all of our translations. What we basically want right now is for our entire translations project to go back to the state found in the branch lp: astrid (https://code.launchpad.net/~tim-todoroo/astrid/github). I've made sure that those .po files are good.

I've requested a manual import, but it doesn't seem to have any effect - the translations on translations.launchpad.net/astrid are still messed up.

Please help us!

Tim

The problem may be that the those PO files you have on github don't show up as changed. You can edit the PO files' headers to update the date that's in there. Then Launchpad's code infrastructure will notice that the files have changed, and automatically arrange for a fresh import.

The Translations app will see that the PO files are more recent than what's in the translations database and so take them as
overriding the previous translations.
