Could someone please change the ownership of the ubuntu-southcarolina team?

Asked by Chris Crisafulli

I'm a member of the LoCo Council[1]

The South Carolina Team[2]'s owner in LP, ( richardson183 [3] ) has basically been absent for the last 12 or more months. There is a member of the team that has routinely e-mailed their list and tried get things started up again, but has been blocked by lack of administrative rights. He has volunteered to take the helm. He has been to several events, such as South East Linux Fest (2010, and 2011) promoting the Ubuntu SC team and advocating Ubuntu, and has a desire to help get the team back on track. Please make Jon Rasmussen[4] the new team contact for the South Carolina Team. I will ask Jon to change the team name to standard once he is made team contact. Thanks for your time!

We just had our first South Carolina LoCo Meeting of 2012. Only six
attendees, but I think it went fairly well. We laid the groundwork for some
12.10 release parties and getting the word out online and in the area. So,
I've been trying to figure out, but haven't gotten very far with it. Is it
only official LoCos that get CDs to give out? It would be really helpful if
we had something to hand out at tech events, etc. while we're building, but
understand if that's not how it works.
