Limited change access to wiki.ubuntu.com

Asked by Borden Rhodes

I 'permanently disabled' wiki.ubuntu.com access before realising that it was not how I change my WikiName. I submitted a previous request for assistance and it appears that I now have write access to my own wiki page at Ubuntu, but I still cannot login with my Launchpad anywhere else at wiki.ubuntu.com. Could I have my account fully enabled again, please?

Hello Borden,

when you try to log in with your Launchpad credentials (the e-mail and password, not the WikiName) in wiki.ubuntu.com what error message do you see?

I checked with the admins and your account was enabled again, so I don't think it's the same problem described in bug 6283.

Thank you for responding, Diogo,

I'm automatically logged in at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/, where I can get at my user page. However, if I navigate to https://help.ubuntu.com/community/, and any of its pages, I have to log in in order to edit any of the pages.

When I try to log in using my Launchpad account, I get a blue bar just below the Ubuntu title bar which says:

Sorry, wrong password.

We've re-enabled your account in the help.ubuntu.com/community wiki. Please try to login and let us know if it continues to fail.
